FOR BUYERS
Is Yacht44 the company selling the boats?+
No. Yacht44 is a listing platform; every boat is sold by the independent, verified brokerage that advertises it. The form on a listing page reaches that brokerage directly; Yacht44 is not a party to the sale and takes no commission.
Which currency are prices in?+
All boats are listed in euros. When you select USD or TRY in the header, the figure you see is an indicative conversion at the European Central Bank reference rate; the euro price is the only contractual one. See the Currency Rates page for details.
What does "Ask about VAT status" mean?+
Whether VAT has been paid on a boat, in which country and whether it can be documented has a serious effect on price. As this is not standardised in listings, ask the broker and see the paperwork before you buy.
What should I do before viewing a boat?+
Use the form on the listing page with the subject 'Book a viewing'; the broker will propose dates. At the serious stage, an independent survey and a sea trial are the international standard.
How does the comparison tool work?+
The COMPARE button on any boat page adds that boat to your selection and opens the comparison page; pick up to four boats there and see price, price per metre, year, length, engine hours and more side by side. Your selection is stored in your browser and the link can be shared.

How do I list my boat on Yacht44?+
Listings are published only through member brokerages. If you own a boat, write to us via the Contact page and we will connect you with a verified broker in your area. The broker enters the boat in their CRM and publishes it in one click.
Will my marina or contact details appear?+
No. Marina details, internal notes and owner information held in the broker's CRM never reach the site. Listings show only the country and the brokerage's contact details.

What is Yacht44 Club and what does it cost?+
Membership for brokerages: a purpose-built yacht CRM, one-click bilingual publishing to yacht44.com, a lead inbox, market data, guides and a monthly briefing. The Club tier is complimentary; Club Plus and Select are on application or by invitation. Details on the Yacht44 Club page.
When do my listings appear on yacht44.com?+
Switch 'Publish on yacht44.com' on for a boat in the CRM and it goes live at the next site publish, usually within minutes. Boats missing photos, a price or a model year are held back under our quality standard.
Where do enquiries go?+
Every enquiry from a listing page lands in your CRM lead inbox with a verified phone number and its subject; spam protection (reCAPTCHA) is verified server-side.
